THE TERRACE ROAD VET HOSPITAL, OUR DREAM

At the Terrace Road Veterinary Hospital we recognize the significance of the relationship between humans and animals, called the human-animal bond. Our purpose is to provide a veterinary care and service to support all aspects of the human-animal bond, recognizing that both the needs of animal patients and human clients must be addressed simultaneously. As long as we as a team strive to exceed our clients' expectations, our purpose has been achieved.

We have a very experienced staff and use a team approach to all medical cases, meaning that three doctors may be consulted on any particular case, pooling over 20 years of combined practice experience including postgraduate veterinary qualifications. We also have direct access to a vast network of specialists and can provide the most current expertise available.

Our focus is on service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff works to meet the clients' every need. Our efficient and experienced staff let us service clients in a prompt, timely manner.

The hospital is owned by us and this was a major motivating factor in starting up. Client satisfaction is extremely important to us. We can make our own decisions to ensure this.

To complement our comprehensive cat and dog practice, we offer a medical and surgical service to clients with exotic pets. We cater for all exotics including reptiles, birds, small mammals like rodents and hamsters as well as primates.

We have a very good relationship with all animal organizations. We are very proud to serve them in any way they require and will continue to do so for as long as we are around. A very exciting new arena we've entered into with them an early spay and neuter project. This entails surgery on puppies and kittens that are very young. This allows re-homing and less bad outcomes for dogs and cats at these organizations. So far this has been an overwhelming success.

We are a full service veterinary hospital providing services such as wellness exams, hospitalization, nursing care, geriatric care, vaccinations, general and orthopaedic surgery, behavioral counseling, breed and pet selection counseling, dentistry and dental care, lab testing, x-raying and ultrasound and even access to MRI scanning.
